Creating Balance ~ Creating Wellness
There are many things in our daily lives that cause muscular pain and therapeutic massage can help. A sudden injury from an auto accident or work related injury, over using our muscles, repetitive motion, degenerative conditions and stress are just a few examples where therapeutic massage can be effective. Many of us spend long hours at the computer that can cause neck, shoulder, and back pain which can lead to tension and migraine headaches as well. Therapeutic massage/deep tissue massage can help many of these issues. Often, we have jobs that require repetitive motion. Over time, this can cause pain in joints and muscles and if not treated, can lead to chronic pain and inflammation. And the stress of day to day living can compound these chronic issues. Therapeutic massage/deep tissue massage can help muscular pain by lengthening tight muscles, breaking up knots that can form in muscles and surrounding tissue, and expelling toxins from tight areas which allows fresh blood flow to tissues and encourages the healing process.
Everett Therapeutic Massage primarily uses deep tissue massage techniques and targets trigger points to reduce pain and patterns of tightness while increasing relaxation and range of motion in joints. Once initial pain and tightness have been treated and reduced with therapeutic massage/deep tissue massage, receiving wellness(relaxation) massage 1-2 times a month is a great way to help keep it away. I encourage you to call or email me directly regarding therapeutic massage/deep tissue massage and how it can help you. Together we will design a personalized plan to reduce your pain and tightness. I look forward to working with you on your road to wellness!
